Palin wipes the floor with Biden

While many criticize the pronunciation of the word nuclear from Sarah, millions of Obama supporters cringed at Biden's whoppers. How can a senator for 36 years not know that Article 1 of the US Constitution does not address the VP's role in the executive branch. This man is dumb as a pile of rocks, that he has never read our Constitution past Article 1. The minute he said that I knew he was utterly wrong in his reference to this important document. The depth of his ignorance must give some pause to reconsider his nomination, after all he is a heart beat away from actually having to learn what the Constitution has to say about the presidency in the remaining articles.

On the matter of foreign policy Biden said the following during the debate :

"When . . . along with France, we kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon, I said and Barack said, 'Move NATO forces in there. Fill the vacuum, because if you don't, Hezbollah will control it."

According to the International Crisis Group, which likewise makes it clear that Hezbollah didn't go anywhere. Heck, even Human Rights Watch (ultra liberal international NGO) admits that they're still there and targeting Israel. What happened in 2005 was that a moderately successful anti-Syrian movement broke out; I say "moderately successful" because Syrian influence in the country is still strong, and if you believe some people, is exercised through groups like Hizbollah. So nobody's really been "kicked out" at all, honestly - and while we're on the subject: just when did you or Senator Obama call for the NATO occupation of Lebanon after the Cedar Revolution? That somehow slipped under my radar and lots of other people's, too, judging from my Google searches.

At least Sarah Palin is learning about foreign policy and still has time to learn from the best minds out there (i.e. Henry Kissinger, John Bolton and others). However Biden has had 36 years to get it right but still has never been on the correct side of any foreign policy issue. How can we risk trying to train a man so ignorant about the basics of foreign policy and one not willing to change.
